Natural dyeing

A tinturaria natural tem sido uma aprendizagem contínua para mim.

Devido aos muitos fatores imprevisíveis que influenciam a cor que cada planta dá (o local onde cresceu, a época do ano em que foi colhida, a qualidade do solo, etc.), é muito difícil - se não impossível - replicar uma cor que foi tingida naturalmente. Mas é isso que torna este processo tão bonito e interessante.

Esta técnica nunca para de me surpreender. Cada planta é incrivelmente generosa.

Natural dyeing has been a constant learning experience for me.

Because of the many unpredictable factors that influence the colour each plant gives (the location where it grew, the time of year it was harvested, the quality of the soil, etc.), it’s very difficult - if not impossible - to replicate an exact colour that was dyed naturally. But that’s what makes it so beautiful and interesting.

This process never ceases to amaze me. Every plant is incredibly generous.
