Ao contrário de um relevo, esta forma projeta-se para lá de um fundo plano, e não a partir dele, estando a superfície de encaixe, materializada na pedra.

O decalque de algo pressupõe a sua presença passada, dando pistas sobre a sua morfologia na altura da impressão. Fazendo do próprio objeto granada, explorei as potencialidades de um corpo fechado que “amanheceu” revelando o seu propósito.

O caixão compacto convida a uma aproximação e envolvimento próximo com o interior leve e delicado, existindo, portanto, uma dicotomia entre o fora e o dentro do encaixe, pois a origem é apenas “um quase nada” do futuro.

Unlike a relief, this shape projects itself beyond a flat surface, not from it, having that groove materialised in the limestone.

The decal of something foresees its past presence, giving clues about its morphology at the time of printing. Making the sculpture itself a grenade, I explored the potential of a closed body that “dawned”, revealing its purpose.

The compact coffin invites the observer to come closer and become more intimately involved with the light and delicate interior, therefore there is a dichotomy between the outside and the inside of the box, because the origin is just “an almost nothing” of the future.
